Online presence, kept current

Google Business Profile setup and optimisation, then kept current.

When people search for a business like yours nearby, Google shows business profiles with a map, opening hours and a phone number. We set yours up, keep it current, and make sure every other listing says the same thing.

check your listing

Tell us how your Google listing looks today.

Four quick steps, mostly taps. Add your business name and suburb, and we look your listing up before we reply with what's missing and roughly what looking after it would cost.

Every question is optional.

what's included

What Google Business Profile optimisation covers.

Two jobs: getting your profile complete and right, then keeping your details the same everywhere a customer might look them up.

Your Google profile

Complete, accurate and kept that way.

  • Setting up and verifying your profile, or taking over the one you have
  • The right primary category, and the services you actually offer
  • Opening hours, including public holidays and closures
  • Photos of your work, your team and your premises
  • Your phone number, website link and the areas you serve

Everywhere else

One set of details, wherever you're listed.

  • The same details on Apple Maps, Bing Places and the directories in your trade
  • Old and duplicate listings found and fixed
  • Your domain renewed before it lapses, and pointed at the right place
  • Your website and profile saying the same thing

why it matters

You can't move closer to the customer. You can be the complete answer.

Google says its local results rest mainly on three things: how well a profile matches the search, how far the business is from the searcher, and how well known it is. It also says complete, accurate information helps. Google's guide to local ranking sets this out.

Distance is out of your hands. Whether your categories, services, hours and photos are complete and up to date is not, and neither is whether the phone number on your profile matches the one on your website and every directory.

Mismatched details cost more than ranking. A customer who rings a disconnected number rarely tries a second time. They ring the next business.

what we won't do

Shortcuts we turn down.

Some profile tricks work for a month and then cost you the profile. We stay inside Google's rules.

Write or buy reviews

Fake reviews break Google's rules and can get a profile suspended. We'll help you ask real customers instead.

Stuff keywords into your business name

Your profile carries the name on your sign and your paperwork. Google's guidelines don't allow anything extra.

Promise a top spot

Nobody controls where Google ranks you. We control whether your details are complete, current and consistent.

the honest answer

Can you manage your own profile?

Yes, and it's free. If you'll remember to change your holiday hours, add photos now and then, and update your phone number in four places when it changes, you don't need us for this part.

It's easy to mean to and not get to it, because the business comes first. That's the part we take off your plate: not the setup, which takes an afternoon, but the years of keeping it right afterwards, alongside your website and apps on one monthly fee.

questions

What owners ask us about Google profiles.

Something else on your mind? Ask it in the free chat.

How do I optimise my Google Business Profile?
Fill in everything Google offers: the primary category that matches your main service, your services, your hours including public holidays, the areas you serve, photos and a description. Then keep it current. Change the hours when they change, reply to reviews, and make sure your website and other listings show the same name, address and phone number.
Does a Google Business Profile cost anything?
No. Google doesn't charge for a Business Profile. What you pay us for is setting it up properly and keeping it, and your other listings, current every month.
What if my business doesn't have a shopfront?
Businesses that go to their customers, like most trades, can hide their street address and show the areas they serve instead. We set your profile up that way.
Can you get us more Google reviews?
We won't write or buy them. We can set up a simple way to ask customers for a review once a job is done, which Google allows, and keep an eye on new ones so you can reply.
Do I need a website as well?
Not to have a profile. But a profile has room for the basics only, and a website is where you explain what you do, show your work and take enquiries. We look after both, so they always match.
Do you manage social media too?
Not at the moment. We look after your Google Business Profile, your domain and your directory listings.
